Payments

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We use Paypal for all payments for a couple of reasons:

They automatically encrypt your confidential information, providing you with the highest level of commercially available security.

You don't necessarily have to have a Paypal account to make a purchase – but you certainly can use one if you have it!

Shipping

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Unfortunately, no. At this time, we only ship to Australian addresses.

Q: How are my purchases shipped?

A: We care for your purchases like they are our own, so we inspect all items carefully for any faults, pack them and then ship them via Registered Post. This means you – or someone you trust (or who isn't your size!) - will need to be there to sign for your package, so make sure that either someone is at home or ask us to ship to your work address. Wouldn't that be a fabulous lift to your day?

Q: What does shipping cost?

A: As we use Australia Post's Registered Post service, everything is weight-based.

Jewellery items, hosiery and hair accessories – no matter how many you purchase – will be sent at $5.00

Clothing items, up to 5 kilograms, will be sent at $15.00... don't worry, 5 kilograms of clothing is a fair bit! If any single items weighs more than 5 kilograms, we will put a note in its description. Only a fully lined circle coat is likely to come close to this weight (or maybe 10 pairs of shoes... that's possible! ;-) )

If you order a clothing item and a jewellery/hair item, the postage will be $15.00

If you order more than 5 kilograms of product, we will waive the postage altogether and issue you a refund if the system has already charged you. Postage is on us!

Q: Who pays for returns?

A: In the event that you need to return something to us because of a fault or those rotten gremlins got into the system and sent you the wrong item, then we will, of course, pay for the return shipping.

If you need to return something to us because you have changed your mind/don't like the way it looks then you are responsible for the return shipping charges. For your peace of mind, we ask that you send via Registered Post as we can't process a credit until we receive the item at our Melbourne office.

Q: The packaging and postage fees, can you send it to me any cheaper?

A: As stated above, we always ship via Australia Post's Registered Post. We are in the business of supplying you with beautiful clothing and accessories, not the courier business so we assure you, we aren't here to make a profit in this department. We just want to get your purchases to you quickly and safely.

Sizing

Q: Why do you have different sizes listed?

A: We have searched the world for beautiful items and our suppliers are in different countries and use their own sizing methods, so we have used their actual measurements to list them on our website.

What we can't answer though is WHY IS THERE NO INTERNATIONAL STANDARD?!? Our pet grrrr!

Q: I'm still confused by the sizing...

A: As always, just drop us an email. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Privacy

Q: What happens to my information?

A: Depends which information we are talking about...

By using Paypal, we never have your credit card information – that is all entirely dealt with by Paypal.

When you sign up for our newsletter, you sign up for our newsletter. That's it! No-one else is ever given your details. CrimsonGardenia.com does not share your information with any third party.

Happiness!

Q: What if I don't like it when I try it on?

A: We want you to be happy, so provided that you contact us within 7 days of receiving your item and the tags are still attached and the item is still in as-new condition, (ie. it hasn't been worn out on a night on the town and there is no trace of perfume/deodorant/make-up on the item), then we will happily take it back and provide you with a store credit. The only exception to this are earrings, underwear and stockings. Please make your choices carefully with these items – and email us with any questions you may have before you buy.

Q: I'm not happy with...

A: Truly, please contact us. It may sound trite but we genuinely want you to be happy with your entire Crimson Gardenia experience. Send an email, give us a call, write a letter... just let us know so that we can help.

Q: Help! I need this dress yesterday...

A: Contact us and if we have it in stock we can discuss alternatives, including pick-up if you are in Melbourne.
